One of the views that I get the privilege to see each Sunday as good news is proclaimed.

I have the honor each week of speaking to many people. And what I've learned in my ten years of of leading WCC is that each seat represents a unique journey. In fact, each seat represents a work in progress. It's also fair to say that the guy on the stage (me) is a work in progress, or as my wife often says, "a piece of work." Nevertheless, we all come together with this basic understanding: I'm not okay and you're not okay, but that's OKAY. We are broken people. When we finally grasp this, and when we open ourselves up to this reality, we are now in a posture to receive healing from Christ.

In just a few short months, our church will be relocating to a spacious "strip mall" in the heart of our community. It will be our first permanent location. It's a big GO GOD! And what we want to extend to our new community is this hope that Jesus is our healer. We believe that God is bigger than any of our problems. We believe that God is bigger than our doubts. And we believe God will meet us in our questions. Why? Because we are all people in process. And it's the most amazing view to me!
