I love audacious generosity! An elderly home in Ukraine is the recipient of thousands of Depend under garments!

Certainly, this is a first for me.  In my 20 plus years of ministry I've never had to make a request like this one! The announcement went something like this: "Dear friends of Willowbrook, many elderly people from Ukraine are in need of under garments that will protect them from disease and irritations that are caused by cloth-like material.  Ukraine DEPENDS on us!"   A couple of months ago I was in Ukraine (Willowbrook has started a couple churches in Ukraine) with my great pastor friend, Sergei.  Sergei brought me to an elderly home in which an amazing man named, Pasha, opened his own home to house roughly 20 elderly people who were rejected by their own families.  It was a humbling sight.   In speaking with Pasha, he shared that their greatest need at the moment was under garments for the elderly.  Currently, they are using cloth-like material.  He asked me if our church could assist him on this project?   For the past couple of weeks I've brought this need to our Willowbrook attenders and we have responded with more than 5,000 Depend under garments!  At this present moment, we are gearing  up to ship them to Ukraine.  I love audacious generosity.  Go God!
